This stimulates the Central Nervous System and the sudden release of chemicals is followed by depression and fatigue. Therefore users seek additional nicotine to feel better. Nicotine is readily absorbed by the body when tobacco is smoked or chewed. Regular use of tobacco products result in nicotine being built up in the system and therefore users can be exposed to the effects of nicotine for up to twenty-four hours.
