Steriods are legal substances prescribed by
a physician, however if distributed or sold without a prescription
they are illegal. Some steroids are made in illegal labs
across the United States. Steriods are not safe unless monitored
by a physician. These artificial hormones are commonly used
illegally to gain muscle mass and body size, however these
drugs have very serious side effects that differ in males
and females. Males users can develope breast, baldness or
impetence as a result. While females can experience a reduction
of breast, develop a deeper voice and facial hair. The changes
caused by steroid use are not reversible in most cases.
