Merchants Against Meth

This program is designed to disseminate information among local merchants identifying the chemicals that are used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine. The Coalition will offer training on the precursor chemicals and will assist businesses in determining what constitutes a suspicious purchase and whom to contact. In addition, the merchants will be provided with posters declaring them members of “Merchant’s Against Meth” that can be displayed throughout the store.
The program effort is aimed at decreasing the availability as well as the manufacturing of methamphetamine. Through proper training and awareness the program allows local businesses to properly assess purchases and report suspicious activity.
